Transaction Data: Purchase history, listing history, payment records, and order details.

Usage Data: Pages visited, search queries, clicks, time spent on platform, device type, browser, and IP address.

Communication Data: Messages exchanged between Farmers and Buyers on the Platform.

Verification Documents: For Farmers, government-issued ID for KYC (Know Your Customer) compliance.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to: (a) create and manage your account; (b) process transactions and facilitate payments; (c) verify farmer identities and listing authenticity; (d) send transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping updates); (e) improve platform features and user experience; (f) comply with legal and regulatory obligations; (g) detect fraud and ensure platform security; (h) send marketing communications (with your consent).

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only as necessary: with the counterparty in a transaction (e.g., Farmer receives Buyer's shipping address); with payment processors (PayPal, Wise, card networks) to process payments; with identity verification services for KYC; with logistics partners for shipping coordination; with legal authorities when required by law.

4. Cookies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience. Cookies include: essential cookies (required for platform functionality), analytics cookies (Google Analytics for understanding usage), and preference cookies (remembering your language and role settings). You may disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect platform functionality.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Service and comply with legal obligations. Account data is retained for the duration of your account and up to 5 years after closure for legal compliance. Transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by Pakistan's financial regulations.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data (subject to legal obligations); object to certain processing; data portability. FarmBridge is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided personal data, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

9. International Data Transfers

As FarmBridge operates internationally, your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside Pakistan. We ensure such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws and apply appropriate safeguards.
